Drums of the Pacific Luau

The “Drums of the Pacific” Lu‘au at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa (a Tihati Production) begins with a lei greeting and mai tai (or fruit punch) while Hawaiian musicians and hula dancers welcome you. An open bar is included in your ticket price and available throughout the evening. The sound of the conch shell, the beating of the drums, and the echoes of the Hawaiian chant signal the start of the show along with an impressive torch lighting and imu ceremony—the unveiling of the main dish, Kalua Pua’a. You will enjoy a generous all-you-can-eat buffet offering the exotic flavors of native Hawaiian cuisine; Kalua Pork, Huli Huli Chicken, Island Style Fish, Polynesian Rice, Vegetables Makamaka, Tropical Fruits Anuenue, Soba Noodles, Lomi Lomi Salmon, Pacific Ahi Poke, Tossed Green Salad, and Poi (taro). Our lavish dessert bar features Macadamia Nut Cream Pie, Haupia with Toasted Coconut, Pineapple Cake and Bread Pudding. We’ll entertain you with a fashion show featuring the islands exotic pareaus (sarong) worn in creative styles and we invite you to join us on stage for a hula lesson. Now you can sit back as we take you on a journey through the islands of Polynesia, including old Hawai‘i, Tonga, Tahiti, Rarotonga, Samoa, Tuamotus, and New Zealand, concluding with an award-winning three-man fire knife dance finale. Crafters of traditional arts are available throughout the evening for the perfect authentic souvenir. Join us for an unforgettable experience by calling (877) 735-9668 for reservations.
